Wow! What a surprise! First because of it’s good quality, second because of it’s low price. I don’t know why is it so cheap, this lens offers very good quality indeed.

No wonder. All lenses were made by the Soviet military factories. And it means better quality. Because we have never pursued for profit, was a fundamental quality!
Not all lenses were made in USSR by military factories, but this one was. It has newer reached the market, I got it quite used on black market in 1976 for a good price and it was only lens I have use for many years.
